T-Systems customers all over the world will benefit from state-of-the-art, convergent IP communications technology from the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise portfolio.
T-Systems and Alcatel-Lucent are laying a new foundation for their cooperation. Both companies signed an international framework contract for the provision of convergent communications solutions from Alcatel-Lucent's portfolio to major customers of T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom business customers. This will make it easier for Deutsche Telekom to provide its customers with tried and true IP solutions for voice and data transmission, including the PBXs Octopus Open and Octopus EP and an extended LAN portfolio.
A strong alliance
With this framework contract, all of the Group's units, including local business units outside of Germany, will have direct access worldwide to Alcatel-Lucent's Enterprise solutions. LBUs outside of Germany will also be able to make use of Alcatel-Lucent's managed services offer. The framework contract, which has been structured for long-term collaboration, replaces and expands on previous non-global contracts and strengthens the successful alliance between the two companies. Alf Henryk Wulf, Chairman of the Board at Alcatel-Lucent Germany, states, "This collaboration is a milestone in our future work together, which we feel will have a positive impact on the international growth of both companies."
